The editors of the Journal hold correspondence with a responsible (contact) author, however, if the team of authors wishes, letters can be sent to all authors for whom an e-mail address is indicated.

All articles submitted to the journal “Bulletin of Maikop State Technological University” undergo a preliminary check by the executive secretary of the Journal for compliance with formal requirements. At this stage the article can be returned to the author (authors) for revision with a request to correct errors or add missing data. Also at this stage, the article may be rejected due to its inconsistency with the goals of the Journal, lack of originality (checking the manuscript in the Anti-Plagiarism system, at least 75% of authorship), and low scientific value.

After the preliminary check, the editor-in-chief sends the article to the reviewer, indicating the deadlines for reviewing. The corresponding notification is sent to the author.

In disputable cases the editor may involve several specialists in the review process, as well as the editor-in-chief.

If the reviewer's opinion is positive, the article is submitted to the editor for publication.

For follow-up revision the reviewer's remarks and comments are transferred to the author. The author is given 1 month to eliminate the faults. If during this period the author does not notify the editors of his/her actions, the article is removed from the publication queue.

When a decision is made to refuse to publish the article, the corresponding editorial decision is sent to the author.

The final version of the layout is sent to the responsible (contact) author of the article accepted for publication, which he/she is obliged to check. The answer is expected from the authors within 2 days. In the absence of a response from the author, the layout of the article is considered approved. The number of rejected articles is 25%.

IV. The procedure for reviewing the decisions of the editor / reviewer

If the author does not agree with the conclusion of the reviewer and / or the editor or individual comments, he/she can challenge the decision. To do this, the author must

- correct the manuscript of the article in accordance with the reasonable comments of reviewers and editors;

- clearly state his/her position on the issue under consideration.

The editors facilitate resubmissions of manuscripts that can potentially be accepted but are rejected due to the need for significant changes or the collection of additional data, and are ready to explain in detail what needs to be corrected in the manuscript in order for it to be accepted for publication.

V. Actions of the editorial board in case of detection of plagiarism, fabrication or data falsification
