Abstract
The article discusses the process of the formation and development of the Russian military school, which originates since Peter’s I transformations. I. The main historical periods of military education are allocated, each of which has distinctive features related to the methods of training and education of future officers, the preparation of military teachers, the edition of educational and methodological literature, etc. A characteristic feature of the development of military education was the fact that these transformations were in parallel with transformations occurring in the armed forces. This interrelated process fruitfully influenced not only the development of the military education system, but also the development of military scientific thought in general. The article traces the continuity between all historical periods of military education in Russia. Attention is focused on the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries when the most elaborated educational system of military schools in Russia was formed, and the military school became one of the most important sociocultural institutions of the state mechanism and the country’s society. All transformations in military education in pre-revolutionary Russia became a foundation for the formation of the Soviet, and then the Russian military school.

Abstract
The article is devoted to relevant scientific problem, since the period of the Great Patriotic War is one of the turning points, nodal moments in the history of our country, in general, and in the history of the female movement in the USSR, in particular. The mass involvement of women in public production, due to the forced development of the economy during the years of industrialization and increased in military time, led to a fundamental change in the status and role of women in the economic, social, political and cultural life of the Soviet society. The relevance of this research is due to the need to study the contribution to the victory of women of the Multiethnic North Caucasus, including Dagestan, a multi-faceted feat of women during the war years, their contribution to victory over fascism deserve high public recognition. The Great Patriotic War contributed to a significant change in the role of a woman in society. The purpose of the research is to show how a woman during the War had to perform the functions that were mainly assigned to men, especially taking into consideration the masculine character of traditional Dagestan society. Documentary materials and special research have been used and the conclusion has been made that during the war women were leading force in solving the tasks of industrial production and agriculture, they were forced to do a heavy work, because all the capable male population were mobilized to the front. The study allows to identify and comprehend the features, the genesis of the development of female activity of the peoples of Dagestan during the war years, to understand the importance and uniqueness of gender-history processes.

Abstract
The problems of the quality of higher education are constantly discussed at different levels, but the cardinal changes have not occurred so far. Constantly changing standards dictated by the time and changes in the requirements of the labor market, only aggravate this position. However, the rapid obsolescence of knowledge, the need for timely and effective change in the educational process under the requirements of the market and the employer, the displacement of obsolete professions by new ones, weak basic preparation (in most cases) of school graduates require other approaches to the optimization of the educational process in universities. The article models the educational process of a university in order to identify the factors that determine its effectiveness. Ways to optimize (reengineering) this process are offered, increasing its adaptability to labor market requests and improving the efficiency of the learning process. The educational process is analyzed as a “business process”, and substantiates the conclusion that in many respects the educational activity corresponds to the category of “Project”. Such interpretation allows you to offer new more flexible tools for quality management of students, which meets the modern qualifications of employers and professional standards.

Abstract
The relevance of the research stems from the fact that the role of professional foreign language communication is significantly increasing in the context of expanding international contacts, establishment of relations with foreign partners. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the importance of a foreign language in the process of a modern specialist’s training in the non-linguistic university. FSES demands professional specifics when learning a language. A foreign language is considered not as a separate, independent discipline, but as the one allowing to acquire special knowledge of terminology in a selected area. The problem of modern specialists is that the low level of foreign language literacy can significantly reduce their competitiveness in the labor market. In this regard, professional-oriented training in foreign languages is a priority direction in modern education. Relying on their own teaching experience, the author emphasizes that professional-oriented texts are easier to cope with the issue of improving motivation to the study of a foreign language. Using a tutorial for bachelors “Horticultural and Landscape Design in English”, the author introduces thematic sections and methods used in working with “Landscape architecture” students. When selecting a material for a textbook in a foreign language, a teacher may face certain difficulties. The article provides ways to solve this problem. The author has analyzed scientific literature on the stated topics. Methods of observation, comparison, analysis have been used. It has been concluded that foreign language is a necessary component in the process of training a specialist of any profile.

Abstract
The article substantiates the role of corporate culture in the formation of a student body as one of the most important factors in the development of the creative (innovative) activity of a student’s personality. The relevance of the topic is due to the influence of corporate culture on the motivation of self-organizing activity of a student association, the possibility of regulating the behavioral attitudes of students on the basis of those values that are acceptable for a university, formation of traditions of a student community. The research problem is the search for new guidelines for the organization of a high-quality educational process in a higher educational institution. The aim of the research is to reveal the aspects that influence the formation of a communicative culture of a student body through self-organization of extracurricular activities. The research is based on the materials of scientific and practical conferences, the results of empirical research, as well as other documents and materials related to the research problem. Questioning and interviewing, study of behavior norms, traditions, and rituals prevailing in student associations have been used as the main research methods. The Results and key findings. Corporate culture of a student body - influences the development of a student’s culture, the formation of the values of a student association, its effective adaptation in a student community; - promotes the development of student’s social activity through motivation for joint collective activity; - is a stimulating tool that encourages the members of a student body to create projects, to form the traditions of a student community, which contributes to the enhancement of the corporate spirit, the development of the student’s personal competencies.

Abstract
The problem of finding effective methods of teaching foreign languages, focused on quick and easy assimilation of language material, its activation in the process of communication in various life situations, is the subject of numerous pedagogical discourse. A modern teacher is a mentor of the educational process, and is able to use a wide methodological and technological pedagogical toolkit. Among the most important problems of modern linguodidactics is the weak motivation of students to learn a foreign language in the absence of a linguistic environment. Therefore, the main task of organizing the educational process in teaching a foreign language is to develop students’ interest in the language. The article focuses on the authors’ practical experience on the use of theater technologies in additional language education and presents a tested foreign language teaching program. The research problem: what is the role of theatrical activities in teaching English? The purpose of the research is to substantiate the potential of theatrical activity in teaching English. The research methods used are observation, generalization, analysis. The research results: the influence of the means of theatrical activity on the process of teaching English to schoolchildren has been described; the understanding of theatricalization as an interactive educational technology in the English classroom has been presented; the experience of using elements of theater in extracurricular activities for the study of the English language have been described; the arguments of theatrical activity as an effective means of teaching a foreign language have been substantiated. Key findings: the means of theatrical activity include the following theatrical techniques: role-play when reading foreign texts, a theatrical story about a character / historical personality, a scene, sketches, games, etc. Theatrical technologies complement the traditional form of the classroom, contributing to the development of open dialogical communication, the emotional component, broadening the horizons of students, which makes it possible to expand the range of opportunities for teaching a foreign language.

Today an electronic educational environment is an integral innovative component of vocational education functioning. The construction of electronic educational environments in Russia is supported by government initiatives in the context of the modernization of the entire educational institution, taking into account global trends. Today, our country has accumulated a certain experience in the development and use of electronic educational resources in the educational process, which needs analysis and systematization. The research problem: what are the mechanisms of using electronic educational environment of a university in the professional training of future psychologists and social teachers? The purpose of the research is to substantiate the expediency of using electronic educational environment in the professional training of future psychologists and social teachers. The research methods used are synthesis, systematization, desk research, generalization. The research results are the following: the relevance of using the electronic educational environment of a university as an innovative resource in the professional training of future psychologists and social teachers has been confirmed; the components of the electronic educational environment of a university have been characterized; electronic resources used in educational activities for the purpose of resource and information support of psychological and pedagogical disciplines have been disclosed Key conclusions: digital service is viewed as an additional, promising innovative educational resource in the professional training of future psychologists and social educators; the components of the electronic information and educational environment of a university are the official website, an electronic library, electronic an educational environment; the effectiveness of professional training of future psychologists and social teachers is possible with the additional use of Moodle, Zoom, YouTube, Google electronic resources.

Abstract
The distance learning model is increasingly being introduced into the practice of educational institutions. Distance learning technologies allow the educational process to be carried out at a distance, expanding the capabilities of educational institutions. The research problem: the use of distance learning technologies in teaching Latin. The purpose of the research is to reveal the potential of distance learning technologies in teaching Latin. The research methods used are generalization, comparison, analysis, survey. The base of the research is FSBEI HE “Maykop State Technological University”, the Medical institute. The research results are the following: the potential of distance learning technologies in teaching Latin has been substantiated; studies related to the problem of distance learning in the study of foreign languages have been analyzed; the experience of using distance learning technologies in teaching Latin language has been presented. Key conclusions: distance learning technologies are information and communication technologies implemented using network resources in the indirect (distant) interaction between students and a teacher; distance learning technologies expand the possibilities of language training in modern conditions and can be considered as an additional resource for obtaining educational information, increasing the availability and quality of education; using e-Learning technologies (electronic educational environment of universities, Zoom and MIND online platforms) is an effective tool in teaching Latin, allowing to expand the range of opportunities for language training.

Abstract
In the modern world digitalization increasingly covers various spheres of society. The importance of digitalization has increased due to the pandemic and the quarantine measures introduced in this regard. These circumstances have emphasized the need for digitalization of education. But, besides teaching, there is educational activity, as well. The article shows the ways and means of using the educational potential of information technologies in the educational process. Using the potential of information technology in civic education of students have been emphasized. Therefore, at present, there is a need for research on civic education in the context of digitalization, as well as optimization of organizational and substantive issues in this direction. The research problem is to reveal the actual aspects of using the potential of information technology in a personality’s civic education. The purpose of the research is to reveal the topical issues of using the educational potential of information technologies in the formation of individual citizenship in modern conditions. The research methods used are analysis, synthesis, generalization. The research results are the following: digital technologies (EIOS, online courses, etc.) used in civic education and contributing to the transformation of the educational process have been described; the possibilities of using digital technologies in the development of a personality’s general culture have been disclosed; the digital transformation of the educational process and the principles of civic education in educational institutions in the context of digitalization have been described; examples of the use of information technology in civic education have been presented (virtual museum, video podcasts, civic education portal, the use of mobile phones to raise students’ awareness). Key conclusions. Information technology in a personality’s civic education refers to innovative educational technologies that contribute to cultural reproduction, formation of civic consciousness, cohesion of society, strengthening of statehood. Digital technologies make it possible to increase the efficiency of the educational process, diversify its content and change the pedagogical tools. The formation of citizenship can be carried out through computer, multimedia and telecommunication technologies, which allow to increase literacy, show respect for language, other legal information and statehood in general.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic that began a year ago was marked by mass isolation of the population and transition to the remote interaction in many areas of human life. In this regard the ability of the domestic vocational education system to fully function through electronic, mobile and remote forms and means of carrying out educational activities is of particular importance. Thus, the problem arises of choosing a software platform for a distance education system that can meet the criteria for organizing and implementing a high-quality and uninterrupted educational process at a university under conditions of distance learning. The article presents the experience of implementing e-learning in the conditions of isolation of students and teachers of Rostov State University of Economics (RINH). The purpose of the article is to analyze the educational capabilities of the Module distance education system based on the experience of its practical application. The research methods used are methods for collecting and accumulating data, methods of assessment and experiential learning. The practical use of the Module system has revealed such shortcomings as the lack of the possibility of conducting interactive lessons in the mode of videoconferencing and the built-in system for testing students’ knowledge. Nevertheless, the authors have concluded that the platform is acceptable for solving educational problems. The experience gained in distance learning made it possible to determine the main subsystems that software tools for implementing the distance learning process must meet.

Abstract
The study of the processes of genesis, renewal and evolution of the modern Russian society is impossible without studying innovative social and cultural roles and norms, where special attention is paid to a fundamentally new way of women’s existence in ethnocultural communities. Their social and cultural status is changing in the modern globalization and information society, in connection with which the issues related to the revision and adjustment of traditional positions and views on gender stereotypes, the distribution of emphasis in the field of gender equality, and ideas about the business activity of women are being actualized. To solve research problems, a structural-functional method, comparative analysis, a socio-gender approach with the use of the principles of consistency, historicism, objectivity have been used, allowing to analyze the nature of modifications in women’s business activity. It has been noted that in the region under consideration there is a special transformation of gender stereotypes, a specific delimitation of the space of “masculine” and “feminine”, which, on the one hand, are conditioned by the patriarchal nature of traditional culture, the presence of stable religious factors, a special mentality, and on the other hand, by the general desire for the processes of globalization, development of civil society. In this regard, the problem arises of the formation and assimilation of values by women in modern society. It has been revealed that modern representatives of the fairer sex are clearly aware that it is necessary to strive for greater financial independence, to have their own stable income in order to feel confident in the future, despite the ongoing socio-economic changes that have lead to the transformation of family relations and the culture of society. At the same time, a woman’s business activity is aimed at controlling time in favor of preserving many traditional views on the position of women in the community of the region and finding a balance between work and family, innovations and traditions.

Abstract
The relevance of the research lies in the need to develop self-regulation skills in law enforcement officers, since this category of employees often performs professional functions in extreme situations, including anti-pandemic measures. The research problem is the contradiction between the increase in physical, intellectual and emotional stress experienced by law enforcement officers in extreme professional situations, on the one hand, and the need for an objective assessment and self-regulatory behavior, on the other. The purpose of the study is to examine the sociological specifics of assessing self-regulatory behavior of law enforcement officers in extreme situations. The article includes the results of an empirical study conducted in 2020-2021 in the Belgorod region, which was attended by current law enforcement officers (n = 134) undergoing advanced training. The following methods were used: a questionnaire survey and a formative experiment were used to collect data; computer analysis of the Excel package and comparative analysis were used to process and analyze the obtained materials. The results of the study showed that mastering self-regulation skills allowed law enforcement officers to understand better the causes of stress, taught them self-control, and improved the quality of communication with colleagues and immediate supervisors. In addition, it was concluded that such indicators as general physical well-being, a decrease in the level of anxiety, irritability and aggression improved.

Abstract
The article is devoted to topical issues of family socio-cultural values in the information space. The article presents the characteristics and interpretation of a family in the media, the functioning of which takes place on the basis of social ties. Currently, the media are actively broadcasting in the society new forms and models of behavior of a modern family, which largely erode the traditional socio-cultural values of the family institution. The relevance of the research is due to the emergence of a serious scientific interest in the problems of transformation of family values at the present stage. The purpose of the article is to study the process of forming the image of a modern family in the media. To achieve this goal, you must complete the following tasks: - to analyze the concept of the socio-cultural values of a family; - to determine the basic forms and methods of a family image representation in the media; - to identify the degree of influence of the media on ideas about a modern family. The subject of the research is the process of forming the socio-cultural values of a family at the present stage. The practical significance of the article lies in the use of provisions and conclusions in the process of communication between representatives of various social groups and cultures. The methodological basis of the article was a systematic approach, as well as methods of comparison and observation.

Abstract
The article examines the socio-cultural preconditions of terrorism in the world history of the 20th century. The current situation in the Russian Federation indicates the need to create an effective organizational and legal mechanism for countering terrorism, which infringes on the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the population of the Russian Federation and its state sovereignty. The provisions have been stated that determine the importance of studying the phenomenon of terrorism in the context of the growth of globalization processes and active opposition to them on the part of opponents of globalization. The author emphasizes the idea that deepening of the modern spiritual crisis influences the replacement of traditional moral values with a pragmatic orientation towards personal material success, which greatly contributes to the development of international terrorism. Despite a fairly wide list of subjects empowered by the national legislation of the Russian Federation to fight terrorism, the current legal field has not developed a concept that defines terrorism not only as a form of illegal action, but as a socio-cultural problem. In many respects, this became one of the reasons for the lack of interaction and coordination between the executive authorities and management in terms of its organization and implementation of measures aimed at countering terrorist manifestations. The study concludes that victory in the fight against terrorism cannot be achieved solely by forceful methods and state institutions. Civil society must make its contribution to the fight against terrorism.

Abstract
The modern world and Russia in particular is characterized by intensive migration processes. Ethnic, socio-cultural, religious conflicts and migrant-phobia are spreading in the countries that receive migrants. This requires a search for new means and mechanisms for the adaptation and integration of migrants, as well as the prevention of migrant phobia among the local population. The aim of the study is to give a sociological description of migrantophobia in Russia and substantiate the potential of the social values of the sports movement in its prevention. The content of the research is based on: 1) the analysis of bibliographic sources on the topic of the article; 2) a secondary analysis of sociological research on the perception of migrants and migrant phobia. Sociological studies demonstrate a downward trend in the level of migrantophobia in the Russian society, however, there is a need for new ways of preventing it. It has been concluded that sport as a social institution and such social values of sport as activity, self-realization, communication, respect, friendship, tolerance can play a significant role in the adaptation and integration of migrants, as well as in prevention of migrant phobia among the local population. Interpretations of the social functions of sports in relation to migrants have been given. The macro-, meso- and micro factors of the involvement of migrants in sports have been indicated.

Abstract
The article is based on the results of the sociological study on the value orientations of students in two traditional forms - full-time and part-time, the peculiarities of their educational trajectories, the motivation for choosing the form of education. The article tests the hypothesis about the presence (absence) of a pronounced connection between the organizational form of education at a university and the subsequent distribution of students, based on estimates of their level of education. The collection of empirical material on the research problem has been carried out in the course of planned research work devoted to the study of the image of the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. A number of associations about the university among those who received education in different forms of education have been identified and described Two approaches of value expectations from education have been identified : the first is closely related to the strengthening of the resource of the prestige of academic education, the second - with the increase in the educational potential of the educational institution. It has been proved that in full-time students the desire to improve themselves as individuals and professionals who can compete on the basis of improved personal competencies, and not on the symbolic attributes of the social hierarchy prevail; the educational efforts of a significant part of students by correspondence are focused mainly on achieving a formal learning outcome - an increase in status, and do not consider a diploma as a document that reflects the qualifications and level of education of the owner. The article makes a substantiated conclusion about the need to differentiate the status of the received educational document depending on the form of study at a university.
